The Migrant Education Program (MEP) is a Federal Program under the Title I-C of Elementary & Secondary Education Act (ESEA). "The primary goal of the Migrant Education Program is to ensure that all migrant students reach challenging academic standards and graduate with a high school diploma that prepares them for responsible citizenship, further learning, and productive employment. Eligibility Requirements: 
- Any child who lives in our district from birth until high school graduation is eligible.
- The child must travel at least 20 miles from their home or across school district boundaries.
- The child must travel with (or to join) a parent/guardian who qualifies as a migratory agricultural worker or migratory fisher (e.g. a commercial or subsistence fisher or subsistence berry picker).
- The child & worker must stay for at least 7 nights/8 days (can be non-consecutive) within a one-year period.
- The trip must be made out of economic necessity for the family.
